Programs & Pathways
This is not a curriculum. This is a calling.
Each offering at the Sacred Recovery Institute is designed to awaken memory, restore identity, and return power to those who carry the burden and the blessing of survival. Our programs are immersive, communal, and covenantal.
Certification Tracks
Become a Sacred Recovery Witness, Keeper, or Scribe.
Our certification pathways are designed for facilitators, clergy, therapists, educators, and community leaders ready to carry this sacred work into healing spaces.
Each level of certification offers training in:
– The spiritual and cultural theology of Sacred Recovery
– Teaching through The Book of Us
– Holding safe space for ancestral identity, historical repair, and collective healing
This is not about mastery. It is about memory.
You are not teaching something new. You are remembering something ancient.
The Sacred Storytelling Lab
A laboratory of voice, memory, and sacred witness.
This experiential program teaches how to shape, share, and sanctify our stories in communal spaces. You’ll learn how to:
– Translate pain into purpose
– Use narrative structure with spiritual depth
– Facilitate collective storytelling and remembrance circles
The Lab is where the truth gets a microphone.
Where the erased become the narrators.
Where “what happened to us” becomes “who we are becoming.”
The Language We Carried: Glossary & Training
A teaching series rooted in the sacred glossary of The Book of Us.
Every word we lost, we are now reclaiming.
This course moves through key terms such as:
– Blood Equity
– Foundational Mothers and Fathers
– Sacred Recovery
– Unwritten Scripture
…and dozens more.
This is not vocabulary—it is revelation.
Participants will learn how to teach from the glossary, embody its rhythm, and carry its truths into academic, pastoral, and cultural settings.
Theology of We Workshops
Unlearning supremacy. Relearning sacred identity.
These deep-dive workshops dismantle harmful religious misteachings while elevating a covenantal, people-centered theology grounded in:
– Spiritual resilience
– Ancestral covenant
– Identity beyond the colonial frame
This is where theology meets remembrance.
Where the Gospel is restored as our family tree.
Covenant Circles (Weekly Virtual Gatherings)
Come as you are. Return as who you’ve always been.
Our weekly gatherings are not just meetings—they are remembrance rituals.
Guided by sacred texts, shared reflection, and spiritual restoration, each Circle offers:
– Breath work and scriptural reflection
– Collective check-ins rooted in sacred memory
– Space to grieve, rebuild, and remember together
Whether you are new to the work or carrying it in your bones, you will find family here.
